Brussels, November 6 (Hibya) – European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated that Europe's security must be taken into account in any potential agreement to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Kallas emphasized that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not have veto power over European security.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas stated that Europe's security must be considered in any potential agreement to end the Russia-Ukraine war.
Emphasizing that any agreement to end the war must prevent Russia from rearming and attacking Ukraine again, Kallas said, "Putin has no veto over Europe's security. Any agreement to end the war must prevent Russia from rearming and attacking again."
Kallas said she had prepared a document earlier this year outlining key demands to Moscow, which had been discussed by EU foreign ministers. She stated that these demands should form the basis of negotiations. "Concessions should be made by the aggressor, not the victim," Kallas said.
