Italian Foreign Minister Tajani: Italy continues to surprise
Rome, July 30 (Hibya) - Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani commented on the economic data released by the National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) and the country's export performance.
Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani said the country's economy had grown beyond expectations, emphasizing that the government's tax cuts and pro-employment policies have produced positive results.
Referring to economic growth and export targets, Tajani said, "Italy, governed by the center-right, continues to surprise. ISTAT data show GDP growth exceeding analysts' forecasts, disproving the selfish and pessimistic approach of an opposition lacking ideas."
Highlighting the increase in exports, Tajani stated, "In particular, despite wars and tariffs, the rise in exports is undoubtedly contributing to growth, with the achievable target of 700 billion euros."
Referring to the reasons behind this success, Tajani said, "This has been made possible by the hard work of Italians, political stability, and a pragmatic government team that consistently pursues the goal of unlocking both human and material resources, including through tax cuts and a strategy that encourages work."
