Israeli Foreign Ministry: The pay-for-killing policy must be ended
Jerusalem, February 2 (Hibya) – The Israeli Foreign Ministry criticized the Palestinian Authority’s pay-for-killing policy, stating that $200 million was paid in 2025 to those involved in terrorist acts and their families.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the Palestinian Authority’s financial policies and payment system.
The statement said: “Pay-for-killing is a policy by which the Palestinian Authority rewards terrorism: the more severe the attack, the higher the payment. A report by the U.S. government confirms that in 2025 the Palestinian Authority paid $200 million to terrorists and their families, thereby encouraging future terrorist attacks.”
The ministry noted that despite Palestinian promises to end this practice, the situation remains unchanged and emphasized that the pay-for-killing policy must be brought to an end.
