Israeli Foreign Ministry: Israel is striking Hezbollah targets
Jerusalem, March 2 (Hibya) - The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that targets in Lebanon were struck in response to Hezbollah’s attacks against Israeli civilians.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the operations carried out and Hezbollah’s role in the region.
In the ministry’s statement concerning the rationale for the operations and the positions of the parties, the following was stated:
“Israel is striking Hezbollah targets in response to Hezbollah's attacks tonight against Israeli civilians. Hezbollah, Iran’s proxy, once again chooses the interests of the Iranian regime over those of Lebanon and its people.”
