Jerusalem, July 28 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said he held a phone call with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, during which they discussed the threats facing both countries and areas of cooperation.

Referring to the content of the discussion, Saar said: "We discussed the challenges facing our nations, including the threat posed by Iran."
Expressing sympathy for the suffering of the Ukrainian people, Saar stated: "I expressed my deep sorrow over the heavy losses suffered by the Ukrainian people in the war and wished a speedy recovery to everyone who has been injured and is suffering."
Highlighting the ties between the two countries and inviting his counterpart to visit Israel, Saar concluded: "Israel and Ukraine are friends, and I look forward to further deepening our cooperation, including the establishment of new training centers in Ukrainian hospitals."
