IDF: We continue to intercept drones launched from Lebanon
Jerusalem, March 11 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) heading toward Israeli airspace from Lebanese territory were neutralized by fighter jets and helicopters.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) shared updated information about air defense operations carried out against UAV attacks launched from the Lebanese border.
Providing details about the moment of the Air Force’s intervention, the IDF stated: "There was an explosion and the target was hit. The Air Force continues to intercept unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Lebanon toward Israeli territory."
The statement emphasized that all available resources have been mobilized to protect the airspace, saying: "The Israeli Air Force continues to protect the skies of the State of Israel using fighter jets and helicopters and successfully continues to intercept unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Lebanon toward Israeli territory."
Providing data on the impact of the attacks, the IDF statement said: "Since the beginning of the operation, dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles that took off from Lebanon toward Israeli territory have been shot down."
