Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that two members of Hamas' military wing were neutralized during operations in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement posted on social media, the IDF said an airstrike in southern Gaza targeted Salem Jamal Abdulrahman Abu Labd, who it identified as a leader in Hamas' Nukhba unit.

The statement alleged that Abu Labd took part in the raid on Kibbutz Nir Oz during the October 7, 2023 attacks.

The IDF also announced that, in a separate operation carried out in central Gaza over the weekend, Mohammed Abdunnasir Mohammed Khatib, whom it identified as a commander in Hamas' Muazzi Battalion, was also neutralized.

The IDF claimed that both individuals were active in Hamas' military wing and were planning attacks against Israeli forces, stating that they were neutralized in precision airstrikes carried out "to eliminate the threat."

The statement added that units under the IDF Southern Command continue to operate in the area in accordance with existing agreements, saying: "We will continue our operations to eliminate all threats."
