According to the IDF, during the operation the suspect drove a vehicle toward an Israeli military unit and ignored orders to stop.
The statement said the soldiers followed the suspect apprehension procedure and opened fire, neutralizing the attacker.
The IDF reported that none of its personnel were killed or injured during the incident.
