Guterres: The UN Charter gives us our compass
New York, January 15 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said they cannot stand by in the face of injustice, indifference, or impunity, stressing that the UN Charter gives them their compass.
UN Secretary-General Guterres stated that they cannot remain spectators to injustice, indifference, or impunity.
Emphasizing that they have the power to chart a different course, Guterres said: “The UN Charter gives us our compass.”
Guterres added that the pursuit of peace together with justice gives them their purpose, saying: “Our shared humanity gives us the obligation to act.”
