Ghalibaf: Those who follow Alexander’s legacy will share Valerian’s fate
Tehran, October 9 (Hibya) - Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf argued that the powers that targeted Iran throughout history were defeated, saying those who follow Alexander’s legacy will share the same fate.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said in a statement that throughout history Iranians had faced powers that proclaimed themselves masters of the universe and sought to destroy ancient civilizations.
Ghalibaf said these powers came to Iran with fire and destruction but left in disgrace, adding, “Those who follow Alexander’s legacy will share Valerian’s fate: You will kneel.”
