Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden reiterated his country's unwavering commitment to the Alliance, emphasizing at the NATO Leaders' Summit in Ankara the importance of strengthening transatlantic security and ensuring that European allies take on greater responsibility for defense.

Outlining Luxembourg's vision and defense policies during the summit in Ankara, Frieden said, "Last year, we laid the foundation with an ambitious defense investment plan. We are now turning our financial commitments into the real military capabilities and forces needed to ensure the security of our citizens and safeguard peace."

Highlighting the importance of financial and technological foundations for strengthening the Alliance's deterrence capabilities, Frieden stated, "Luxembourg has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to NATO, our collective defense, and the principle of strength through unity. Credible deterrence requires innovation, industry, space and cyber capabilities, as well as reliable financing."
