Explosion at a Mosque in Pakistan
Islamabad, February 6 (Hibya) – An explosion occurred at a mosque in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad during Friday prayers.
According to CNN, at least 31 people were killed and 169 injured in the explosion that took place at a mosque in Islamabad during Friday prayers.
The attack was reported to be the deadliest in the country since the Peshawar mosque attack in January 2023.
Police sources stated that internal investigations indicate the Pakistani Taliban or Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was behind the attack, and that no group has yet claimed responsibility.
