European stock markets generally declined
Istanbul, September 2 (Hibya) - In European markets, most indices ended the day lower.
The UK's FTSE 100 Index fell 0.32 percent to 10,789.28 points, while France's CAC 40 Index declined 0.39 percent to 8,301.85 points. The Netherlands' AEX Index ended the day down 0.35 percent at 1,101.92 points, while Germany's DAX Index fell 1.10 percent to 25,970.11 points.
Spain's IBEX 35 Index declined 0.75 percent to 19,824.00 points, while the Euro Stoxx 50 Index fell 0.81 percent to 6,368.35 points. Switzerland's SMI Index, meanwhile, rose 0.34 percent to 14,334.79 points.
In Russia, the RTSI and MOEX Russia indices remained unchanged at 794.27 and 2,187.33 points, respectively. Portugal's PSI Index rose 0.44 percent to 9,478.42 points.
During the day, the FTSE 100 Index traded between 10,829.19 and 10,689.55 points, the CAC 40 Index between 8,372.55 and 8,278.54 points, and the DAX Index between 26,206.13 and 25,916.76 points.
