Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen stated in his response to the Defense Committee that next year Denmark will contribute 9.4 billion kroner to Ukraine. “Last year we contributed 16.5 billion kroner, and the year before that the amount was nearly 19 billion,” he said.

Based on data from the Ministry of Defense, the broadcaster published a chart showing a gradual decline in military aid to Ukraine.

Copenhagen plans to send 7.1 billion kroner to Kyiv in 2027 and only one billion kroner in 2028.

To finance its military industry, Copenhagen allocated 1.2 billion euros to Kyiv in 2025. The so-called “Danish model” allows other countries to purchase weapons and equipment directly from Ukraine’s defense industry.

Meanwhile, Denmark’s Ministry of Trade and Industry announced that construction has begun on a solid rocket fuel production facility in the south of the country for the Ukrainian defense company Fire Point. According to Fire Point’s Denmark director, Vyacheslav Bondarchuk, fuel production will begin in 2026.
