Dar meets with Bangladesh Foreign Minister Rahman
Manila, July 22 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Bangladesh's Foreign Minister and President-elect of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly Khalilur Rahman on the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum in Manila.
According to a statement by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting with Bangladesh's Foreign Minister and President-elect of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Khalilur Rahman, during the Ministerial Meeting of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) in Manila.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the current state of Pakistan-Bangladesh relations and the momentum generated by Dar's visit to Bangladesh last year. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening ties between the two countries.
The two ministers also expressed satisfaction with the increase in people-to-people contacts and the improvement in transport connectivity thanks to the direct flights launched this year.
