Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls for protection of civilians
Zagreb, March 1 (Hibya) - The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Iran’s ballistic missile attacks and called for the protection of civilians.
The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East poses a serious threat to regional stability.
It was noted that Iranian authorities have demonstrated an uncompromising stance and a lack of credibility in negotiations aimed at halting their military nuclear program, and regret was expressed that this has led to large-scale military intervention by the United States and Israel against Iran.
The Ministry strongly condemned Iran’s retaliatory ballistic missile attacks against neighboring countries and warned that these attacks could further increase regional tensions.
It also emphasized the vital importance of preventing further bloodshed and protecting civilians, calling for full respect for international and humanitarian law.
