According to information from China's Ministry of Commerce, Chinese Vice Minister of Commerce Ling Ji met yesterday in Brussels with officials from the European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade.
During the meeting, preparations for the establishment of the China-EU trade and investment consultation mechanism were discussed comprehensively.
It was reported that both sides reached a consensus to work toward achieving concrete outcomes at the first meeting of the China-EU trade and investment consultation mechanism, stabilizing bilateral economic and trade relations, and promoting the sustainable development of these relations.
