Canada and British Columbia sign new economic cooperation agreement
Ottawa, July 2 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that a new cooperation agreement signed with British Columbia will accelerate major energy projects and trade corridors while supporting sustainable development and economic prosperity.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a new economic cooperation agreement between the federal government of Canada and the province of British Columbia.
Prime Minister Carney said, "The new Canada–British Columbia Cooperative Prosperity Agreement will enable major energy projects and trade corridors to be delivered more quickly and sustainably."
Carney stated that the agreement will diversify trade, protect the air, land, and water resources, and create lasting prosperity and new opportunities for the people of British Columbia and all Canadians.
