Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys met with representatives of Belarusian civil society organizations based in Lithuania.

During the meeting, Budrys emphasized that their shared goal is “a free and democratic Belarus.”

Stating that Lithuania will continue to support Belarus’s democratic future, Budrys said: “Lithuania will continue to support Belarus’s democratic future, hold the regime accountable, and increase pressure on it. We will continue doing so until the regime ends its repression of the Belarusian people, stops its shameful support for Russia in its war of aggression against Ukraine, and ceases its hybrid attacks against Lithuania and other neighboring countries.”
