Amsterdam, September 21 (Hibya) - Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said he is in New York to meet with countries gathered for the United Nations General Assembly, address differences and find common ground.
Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen made a statement regarding his engagements in New York as part of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Berendsen said: "This week, the world is gathering in New York for the United Nations General Assembly. I am here to meet with partners, address our differences and find common ground."
Berendsen said the Netherlands is at its strongest when it builds lasting partnerships beyond its borders, in regions both near and far, and emphasized the importance of this approach.
