Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke at a meeting held in New York as part of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Bayramov said in a post on his social media account that he briefed members of the General Assembly on the ongoing post-war rehabilitation efforts in Azerbaijan and the de facto peace process in the country following the Washington Peace Summit.

Drawing attention to Azerbaijan’s work in developing interregional connectivity, the green energy transition, economic transformation and climate action, Bayramov said his country is actively contributing to global development and reform of the multilateral system.

Bayramov said they remain committed to a multilateral system that delivers tangible results, ensures regional stability and supports sustainable growth.
