Asian markets show a mixed performance
Istanbul, March 27 (Hibya) - Asian stock markets showed a mixed performance, with declines in South Korea and India, while markets in Hong Kong and China rose.
Asian markets displayed a mixed outlook despite prolonged peace talks. Declines were prominent in some markets, particularly in South Korea led by the Kospi index.
In South Korea, the Kospi index fell by 0.11 percent to 8,516.30 points, while Japan’s Nikkei index dropped by 0.09 percent to 53,552.86 points. India’s Nifty 50 index also declined by 1.41 percent to 22,985.60 points.
In contrast, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index rose by 0.86 percent to 25,071.11 points, while China’s Shanghai Composite Index increased by 0.77 percent to 3,918.556 points.
