Arakchi: We have no intention of negotiating with the United States
Tehran, March 26 (Hibya) - After Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Arakchi stated that they have no intention of negotiating with the United States, global oil prices began to rise in Asian markets.
According to BBC, Arakchi said that the exchange of messages between Tehran and Washington is conducted only through friendly countries and that these contacts do not constitute formal negotiations.
Brent crude rose by 1.6% to 103.85 US dollars, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) gained 4.4% to trade at 91.61 dollars.
US President Donald Trump claimed that Iranian leaders are "afraid" to admit that they are at the negotiating table.
