Albares: Spain and France are committed to a strong European project
Madrid, 29 January (Hibya) – Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares emphasised the shared determination to defend multilateralism and international law during his meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.
Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares met with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot to assess the European agenda and bilateral relations.
Following the meeting, Albares issued a statement drawing attention to Spain’s and France’s vision for Europe’s future.
Albares said: “Spain and France are committed to a strong European project, and therefore we defend our democratic values. We work together to defend multilateralism and international law. I discussed these issues in detail with my French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot.”
