Albares meets with his Algerian counterpart Attaf
Algiers, March 26 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, announced that economic relations between the two countries are gaining momentum following his meeting with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf.
During his official visit to Algeria, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares met with his counterpart Ahmed Attaf and held talks aimed at strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
Assessing the results of the meeting, Albares said: "In Algeria, I had an excellent meeting with my counterpart Ahmed Attaf. We are strengthening our exceptional relationship based on deep human and historical ties."
Highlighting trade data in particular, Albares added: "Following the remarkable 270 percent increase in Spain’s exports in 2025, we are also enhancing our economic relations."
