Albania closes Chapter 20 in EU accession negotiations
Brussels, October 13 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos said Albania had closed negotiating Chapter 20, covering enterprise and industrial policy, bringing the country one step closer to its goal of completing accession negotiations next year.

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos said in a social media statement that Albania was proud to be among the leading countries in the progress made this year in the EU enlargement process.
Kos said the closure of the chapter would support reforms that would contribute to the growth of businesses in Albania and the creation of new jobs.
Noting that Albania had moved one step closer to its goal of completing accession negotiations next year, Kos said she expected further positive developments from Tirana in the coming months.
