Albanese: We signed a joint declaration with Malaysia on energy security
Canberra, April 16 (Hibya) – Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated that conflicts in the Middle East could affect fuel supply and announced that they took a joint step with Anwar Ibrahim to strengthen energy security.
Australian Prime Minister Albanese announced that he and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim reached an agreement on a Joint Declaration on Energy Security to support the continuation of fuel flow between the two countries.
In his statement, Albanese said, “As conflicts in the Middle East affect Australia, we need to strengthen our fuel supply.”
Emphasizing the importance of cooperation with international partners, Albanese stated, “It is more important than ever to work with our international partners to ensure Australia’s access to the fuel it needs.”
