Abiy Ahmed: Ethiopia is developing its own capabilities in the defense industry
Addis Ababa – Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali said the country has succeeded in producing unmanned aerial vehicles, armored military vehicles, heavy weapons, artillery systems and ammunition in its defense industry.
In a post marking the “Day of Resilience,” Abiy Ahmed Ali commemorated the sacrifices made by the country's security forces to protect Ethiopia's sovereignty.
Abiy Ahmed said Ethiopia produces UAVs and drones, modern armored military vehicles, heavy weapons, artillery systems and ammunition using its own knowledge and capabilities, adding that its defense capacity provides an important foundation for the country's peace and economic growth.
