Zelensky: We brought the defense industry and frontline commanders to the same table
Kyiv, July 20 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that a special meeting was held to discuss defense needs with the participation of frontline corps commanders, representatives of the defense industry, and relevant government institutions.

Zelensky said, “For the first time, a direct dialogue took place between weapons and equipment manufacturers, the corps commanders who use these products, and government institutions.”
He stated that the meeting covered unmanned aerial vehicles, ground robotic systems, long-range munitions, procurement processes, and the production needs of the defense industry, adding that an agreement had been reached to make this format a regular practice.
Zelensky also noted that shortcomings identified in production were reviewed. “Ukraine must enter August as strong as possible and be prepared for the different steps Russia may take in the autumn,” he said.
