Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia's latest air attack on Kyiv and its surrounding areas was one of the largest ballistic missile operations to date, calling for an acceleration of air defense support.

Stating that Russia is relying on its ballistic missile capability, Zelensky said: "Russia is relying on ballistic missiles, and they are the reason why Putin still believes in this war."

Zelensky stressed that allied countries should increase their defense assistance, concluding: "It is extremely important that our partners understand what is happening and realize that air defense missiles are literally needed every single day to protect people's lives. It is essential to accelerate everything together with both our European partners and the United States."
