Zelensky: I met with three experienced Ukrainian military officers
Kyiv, July 19 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he met with three experienced officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to discuss the latest situation on the frontline and the country's defense priorities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he met with the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhailo Drapatyi, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Horbatiuk, and Commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleh Apostol.
Sharing details of the meeting, Zelensky said: "First, Major General Drapatyi briefed me on the situation in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions. I am grateful to all of our units that are effectively eliminating the occupiers and preventing the Russian army from achieving its assigned objectives."
Referring to international agreements and military supply efforts, Zelensky stated: "Second, I provided an update on the implementation of our agreements with partners and the continuous delivery of the supplies needed to defend Ukraine. The highest priorities are air defense and the full implementation of contracts for the production of all types of unmanned aerial vehicles."
Pointing to operational developments on the frontline, Zelensky added: "Third, I provided information on the Oleksandrivka sector and the active operations of our Air Assault Forces."
