Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha met with his Polish counterpart Sikorski
Warsaw, March 9 (Hibya) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha stated that he met with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in Warsaw while traveling to Latin America.
Sybiha noted that he briefed Sikorski on the situation on the battlefield and the current status of diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a lasting peace, adding that they also discussed the geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
Minister Sybiha stated that they also discussed expanding cooperation in the fields of defense, security, reconstruction and energy, as well as making progress on Ukraine's path to European Union membership, and added:
"We also exchanged views on the concerning incident in which Hungary seized Ukrainian bank vehicles transiting from Austria and detained Ukrainian citizens working in those vehicles. Such actions are contrary to the European Convention on Human Rights and international law."
