Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha announced on social media that he had held his first meeting with Romania's new Foreign Minister Dan Neculaescu. Sybiha congratulated his counterpart on his new position and wished him success.

Describing Romania as an important strategic partner for Ukraine, Sybiha stated that the two countries share common interests in ensuring security and stability in the Black Sea region. He noted that the meeting addressed strengthening bilateral cooperation and taking joint action against growing threats in the region.

Referring to the recent drone attack on a civilian cargo ship near the Romanian coast, Sybiha said that one Ukrainian citizen had been killed and three Ukrainian crew members remained missing. He stated that the attack demonstrated how the consequences of Russia's attacks against Ukraine were spreading across the wider region.

Emphasizing the need to protect civilian maritime transport, guarantee freedom of navigation and increase pressure on Russia, Sybiha called for unity and determination in addressing these issues. He noted that the "Odesa Triangle" format would play an important role in advancing these efforts.

Sybiha also thanked Romania for its comprehensive support, including its backing for Ukraine's accession to the European Union. He said the meeting had also addressed efforts to protect the rights of the Ukrainian minority in Romania and the Romanian minority in Ukraine. Sybiha added that the two countries had agreed to maintain close contact and continue cooperation in line with their shared priorities.
