Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that comprehensive support for Ukraine and increased pressure on Russia are necessary to achieve a just and lasting peace in Ukraine.
Describing the uninterrupted provision of military, financial and political support to Ukraine as the first step toward peace, Tsahkna said, "Point 1: Provide Ukraine with determined and comprehensive military, financial and political support."
Identifying increased pressure on Russia as the second step, Tsahkna stated, "Point 2: Apply comprehensive pressure on Russia by imposing tough sanctions, preventing sanctions circumvention, using frozen Russian assets and limiting Russia's ability to wage war."
Tsahkna emphasized that the path toward a just and lasting peace in Ukraine could be built on these two fundamental steps.
