Sybiha met with Slovak Foreign Minister Blanar
Presov, 5 December (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Slovakia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Juraj Blanar, in Presov.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha stated that he had a productive meeting with his Slovak counterpart Juraj Blanar in Presov.
Sybiha noted that he informed his counterpart about the situation on the front line, Russia’s attacks on energy systems, and the latest developments in peace efforts. He added, “We welcomed the active dialogue between President Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Fico, as well as the positive results of the latest intergovernmental commission.”
Sybiha emphasized that bilateral relations are progressing positively and that they are determined to strengthen them in all areas—from joint infrastructure projects to cooperation within the Mine Action and Housing Coalitions.
“I am grateful to Slovakia for its €500,000 support for our energy sector and for the progress on the Ukrainian Bilingual School project in Bratislava. We appreciate Slovakia’s consistent support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and its path toward EU membership.”
