The meeting focused on strengthening interparliamentary relations between the two countries, defense cooperation, and the impact of sanctions imposed on Russia.
The parties also reviewed preparations for the Crimea Platform Parliamentary Summit, which is planned to be held in London.
Sybiha said, "I feel profound gratitude for Japan's unwavering solidarity."
