Selling dominated global commodity markets in the new trading session. Declines in energy and precious metals drew attention, while agricultural commodities recorded limited movements.

Oil prices continued to fall. U.S. crude oil (WTI) declined 1.31 percent to $81.53, while Brent crude fell 1.32 percent to trade at $84.73 per barrel. Natural gas prices dropped 0.72 percent to 2.752.

Selling pressure also affected precious metals. Gold fell 0.84 percent to $4,042.35 per ounce, while silver declined 2.40 percent to 57.308. Copper, one of the industrial metals, lost 0.90 percent to trade at 6.3388.

Agricultural commodities showed a more stable outlook. U.S. soybean futures edged up 0.03 percent to 1,211.88.

Analysts said global growth expectations, geopolitical developments and movements in the U.S. Dollar Index continue to determine commodity prices, while investors closely monitor energy markets and developments concerning central banks' monetary policies.
