Sanchez: We will defend the rights of Madrid’s women in the courts
Madrid, 17 November (Hibya) – Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said they will firmly defend the rights of women in Madrid before the judiciary.
Sanchez stated that the Madrid region now directs more than 99% of voluntary pregnancy terminations to private clinics.
He said this turns a fundamental right into a source of profit, adding: “We will not allow this. Therefore, starting today, the government will submit an official request to the State Legal Office to file an administrative lawsuit before the High Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM).”
Sanchez emphasized that they will resolutely defend the rights of Madrid’s women before the courts.
