Şahin accepted the letters of credence from the UNESCO Representative to Palestine
Jerusalem, February 10 (Hibya) - Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Varseen Şahin, accepted the letters of credence from the UNESCO Representative to Palestine and Head of the Ramallah Office, Karim Hendili, via video conference.
Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Şahin accepted the letters of credence from UNESCO’s Representative to Palestine Hendili via video conference. Minister Şahin congratulated Hendili on his new position and expressed Palestine’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with UNESCO.
During the meeting, Minister Şahin emphasized UNESCO's role in preserving Palestine's cultural heritage and warned against illegal attempts to alter the legal status of the occupied West Bank in violation of international law.
Hendili, for his part, expressed his determination to develop partnership and cooperation with the State of Palestine.
