Saar: We discussed regional developments with New Zealand Foreign Minister Peters
Tel Aviv, September 14 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters, discussing regional issues and sharing his criticism of the Palestinian Authority.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said he had a productive meeting with New Zealand Foreign Minister Winston Peters.
Sharing his criticism of the Palestinian Authority’s policies, Saar said, "I emphasized that the Palestinian Authority continues to finance terrorism by making payments to terrorists and their families as a reward for terrorist attacks against Israelis."
Referring to the Palestinian position, Saar said, "The Palestinian Authority also continues its incitement against Jews and the Jewish state through its education system, media and mosques."
Thanking New Zealand, Saar concluded his statement by saying, "I thanked New Zealand for the important step it has taken to promote Holocaust education, especially at a time when antisemitism is on the rise."
