Rutte: NATO Allies gather in Ankara
Ankara, July 8 (Hibya) - NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that NATO Allies are gathering in Ankara to ensure that the Alliance continues to carry out its missions with determination.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte outlined the main focus of the summit, saying that today's agenda includes increasing defense investment, strengthening the defense industrial base, and maintaining strategic support for Ukraine.
Explaining the purpose of the meeting, Rutte said, “NATO Allies are gathering in Ankara to ensure that the Alliance continues to fulfill its missions.”
Referring to the topics to be discussed, Rutte stated, “Today's agenda is to increase defense investment, strengthen our defense industrial base, and reaffirm continued support for Ukraine.”
