Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman said he was pleased to meet with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani as part of his official visit to Pakistan.

Commenting on the contribution of the meetings to bilateral relations, Grlić Radman said: "We reaffirmed the strong bilateral relations between Croatia and Pakistan, as well as our shared interest in further enhancing cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy and the defence industry."

Grlić Radman also noted that they discussed international developments, stating: "We also exchanged views on regional and global issues, including the situation in the Middle East. I welcomed Pakistan's engagement in efforts to de-escalate tensions, promote dialogue, and contribute to regional stability."
