Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Portuguese Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel condemned the escalating violence in the West Bank and said Portugal is deeply concerned about the developments in the region.

Rangel called on all parties to exercise maximum restraint, particularly in the context of the ongoing Israeli military operation, reminding them that the protection of civilians is one of the fundamental obligations under international law.

The statement said that acts of violence by Israeli settlers, as well as the expansion of settlements, violate international law and continue to undermine the prospects for peace.

Portugal reiterated that the only way to achieve a just, lasting, and sustainable peace is through a two-state solution and affirmed that it will continue its firm support for this objective.
