Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic said that he continues to maintain a high-quality dialogue and cooperation with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in Brussels.

Plenkovic stated that discussions covered the 2028–2034 EU budget, reforms and investments under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and energy security. He noted that increasing LNG terminal capacities and investing in natural gas pipelines are strengthening Croatia’s goal of becoming a regional energy hub.

Plenkovic also highlighted the importance of supporting the Bosnia and Herzegovina Southern Gas Interconnection project and noted that Croatia continues its reform process toward OECD membership.
