Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the Colombian government's opening of an embassy to Israel in the occupied city of Jerusalem. The ministry stated that the move constituted a clear violation of international law and relevant United Nations (UN) resolutions, as well as an assault on the Palestinian people and their legitimate national rights.

Emphasizing that all measures and decisions aimed at changing the legal and historical status of occupied Jerusalem are null and void, the ministry stated that such initiatives would have no legal effect.

The statement said that opening the embassy violated resolutions of international legitimacy, particularly UN Security Council Resolutions 476 and 478. It noted that the move undermined international consensus on the legal status of the holy city and harmed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. The ministry also argued that the decision encouraged Israeli authorities to continue their colonial policies and establish unlawful facts on the ground.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates called on the Colombian government to comply with international law and relevant UN resolutions and reverse the decision. The statement emphasized that such steps were important for achieving a just and comprehensive peace, ending Israel's prolonged occupation, and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

The ministry also called on brotherly and friendly countries, as well as regional and international organizations, to fulfill their responsibilities in protecting the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. The statement stressed the importance of implementing international resolutions concerning Jerusalem's legal status and carrying out joint Arab and Islamic decisions to take the necessary political, diplomatic, economic, and legal measures against countries that open embassies in Jerusalem or relocate their embassies to the city.
