Pakistan launches its first Chromebook assembly line and Google partnership
Islamabad, November 4 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, delivered remarks at the launch ceremony of the country’s first Chromebook assembly line and the inauguration of the Google–Pakistan partnership.
Dar stated that this step is “a tangible manifestation of the Digital Pakistan vision,” emphasizing that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s digital transformation agenda is now being realized through concrete projects and partnerships.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister appreciated Google’s cooperation and reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening this mutually beneficial partnership. Dar added that the country is focused on fostering innovation, empowering youth, and preparing the digital economy for the future through global partnerships and national determination.
