Orban: Terror cells may become active in Western Europe
Budapest, March 5 (Hibya) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned that terror cells could become active in Western Europe following the conflicts with Iran.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made a statement regarding the security repercussions across Europe of the Iran-related war in the Middle East. Orban stated that Hungary has moved into an "alert" status against possible threats.
Pointing out that regional conflicts increase the risk of terrorism, Orban said:
“Hungary is on alert. Following the war with Iran, terror cells in Western Europe may become active. Since this situation directly affects Hungary’s security, we have taken preventive measures.”
Emphasizing that the government's priority is the safety of the public, Prime Minister Orban concluded his statement with the words: “We will protect the security of Hungary and the Hungarian people!”
