New ambassador appointment in Israel-Japan relations
Jerusalem, March 17 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar expressed his satisfaction with the appointment of Dr. Emmanuel Navon as Ambassador to Japan.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar emphasized that Israel-Japan relations are of strategic importance. He thanked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the government for their support in appointing Dr. Emmanuel Navon as Ambassador to Japan.
Saar described Emmanuel Navon as “a patriot devoted to Israel, an intellectual, and an expert in international relations,” expressing confidence that he will succeed in his role and make a significant contribution to strengthening relations between Israel and Japan.
