Netanyahu to Lieberman: Back down immediately
Jerusalem, September 23 (Hibya)-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on former Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman to abandon his proposal, claiming that Lieberman had suggested that the Jordanian army take control on Israeli territory.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu commented in a social media post directed at former Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
Referring to the period when Lieberman formed a government with Mansour Abbas, Netanyahu said: "Lieberman, I knew you were left-wing from the day you formed a government with Mansour Abbas."
Netanyahu said Lieberman would form a government with Benny Gantz, Yair Golan, Naftali Bennett and the Arab parties, adding: "But I did not believe that today you would propose that the Jordanian army take control on Israeli territory."
At the end of his post, Netanyahu called on Lieberman: "Back down immediately!"
