Mucunski spoke with Bulgaria’s newly appointed Foreign Minister Neynsky
Skopje, February 20 (Hibya) - North Macedonia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Timco Mucunski held a phone conversation with Bulgaria’s newly appointed Foreign Minister Nadezhda Neynsky.
North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski called Nadezhda Neynsky, who was appointed as Foreign Minister as part of the new government formation in Bulgaria, to convey his congratulations.
Wishing the new minister success in her duties, Mucunski emphasized the fundamental principles of bilateral relations, stating, “I would like to underline that relations between the two countries should be guided by the principles of good neighborliness, friendship, and constructive cooperation.”
The meeting also stressed that communication should not be interrupted in order to overcome existing issues and accelerate joint projects. Mucunski stated, “As a necessary step toward maintaining open dialogue and responsible engagement, an initiative has been launched to hold a bilateral meeting in the near future.”
